Traffic/CIS Standard Month-End Reports

Our costing process automatically generates many standard monthly reports, including:

• Earnings by Customer and Customer Groups. Accumulates costed database results by customer code and sorts out the best customers by operating income, worst customers by operating loss (or low income) and largest customers by revenue. The three reports are limited to a number of customers set by the user for each. Another set of reports accumulates costed database results by groups of customers (i.e., "national accounts") and sorts out the best, worst and largest in the same manner.

• Earnings by Tariff. Accumulates costed database results by tariff, using the index of all tariff codes found in the CIS database for the current period.

• Earning by Interline Carrier. Accumulates costed database results by interline carrier, defined by the coding used for the shipments in the CIS database. The results are for all carriers with whom shipments were interlined during the period.

• Earnings by Lane. Accumulates costed database results by origin/destination terminal pair, creating a report for all lanes (optional) as well as sorting out the best lanes by operating loss (or low income) and largest lanes by revenue. The three reports are limited to a number of lanes set by the user for each.

• Earnings by Sales Representative. Accumulates costed database results by sales rep. Results are for all shipments of all customers (shipper prepaid and consignee collect only) assigned to each sales rep during the period.

• New Customer Follow-up. Accumulates data for new customers, showing comparisons to anticipated freight volume and characteristics. This includes all customers within a specified time frame within which the customer's rates become effective.

• Off-Bill discount Reports. Impact of off-bill discounts and adjustments by customer, for customers with revenue adjustments in the customer profile.

• Traffic Between and Within Terminal Regions. Freight terminals can be grouped into regions, which are then used as the basis for this report.

• Terminal Productivity Reports. Accumulates Costed database P&D and dock minutes by freight terminal, as calculated by the CIS during the monthly processing ("Standard" hours), and compares accumulated totals to actual payroll.

• Terminal Profitability Report. A Terminal Profitability Report is generated showing total shipments, revenue and expense (and operating ratio) for all inbound shipments and all outbound shipments for each freight terminal.
